Aruna Technology provides engineering design services for public infrastructure, specialist technical facilities and rural development projects in Cambodia. Our experience includes survey station structures, a weather radar building, irrigation rehabilitation and rural roads.
We bring together field surveys, site information and multidisciplinary design expertise to develop practical designs suited to the project and its operating requirements. Working with clients and specialist partners, we support projects from site assessment and concept development through to detailed drawings, design reports and tender documentation.
Our senior engineers are certified by the Board of Engineers Cambodia (BEC), and Aruna Technology holds design certification from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC).
Our engineering design services
- Site assessment and design inputs: Review of existing maps, project requirements and site conditions, supported by engineering surveys, geological information and landholding mapping where required.
- Concept and detailed design: Development of design options, architectural layouts, civil and structural drawings, and detailed engineering designs for technical facilities and infrastructure.
- Building services coordination: Integration of mechanical, electrical and plumbing requirements, including power, grounding, lightning protection, ventilation, environmental controls and fire safety.
- Irrigation and rural road design: Survey and design for rehabilitation projects, with consideration of climate resilience, disaster risk and land requirements.
- Design and tender documentation: Preparation of CAD drawings, engineering design reports, technical specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates to support review and procurement.
- Construction coordination: Experience coordinating site teams and checking construction work, helping connect design requirements with implementation.

Project Focus
Doppler Weather Radar Building
Multidisciplinary building design | Phnom Baset in Kandal
Aruna Technology undertook a detailed engineering design assignment for PT. INACON Luhur Pertiwi under the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology’s ADB-supported Irrigated Agriculture Improvement Project, working with INROS LACKNER (Cambodia). The proposed weather radar building at Phnom Baset was planned to be approximately 70 m tall, with operational facilities and a public viewing platform.
- Developed concept engineering and architectural designs, internal layouts and options for ministry review, supported by civil, structural, architectural and building services specialists.
- Integrated forecasting, data transfer, training and ICT spaces with server room environmental controls, electrical systems, grounding, lightning protection, ventilation, fire safety and cable management.
- Included specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates for additional agreed tender packages.
CORS Station Infrastructure Design
Architectural and structural design | Five sites in Cambodia
For PASCO Corporation, Aruna Technology provided design and implementation services for five Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) and one data centre under the Project on Establishment of CORS for Land Management and Infrastructure Development.
- Prepared site documentation and geological information to support construction planning at the five station locations.
- Produced architectural and detailed structural drawings for station construction works.
- Coordinated and supervised construction teams, and installed the CORS equipment and network linking the five stations and data centre.
Topographic Survey and Design of Two Subprojects
Engineering surveys and detailed design | Prey Veng and Kampong Cham
Under the ADB Tonle Sap Poverty Reduction and Smallholder Development Project, Aruna Technology carried out engineering surveys and full engineering design for irrigation rehabilitation in Lvea Commune, Prey Veng, and rehabilitation of the Batheay to Chbar Ampov road in Kampong Cham.
- Collected and reviewed project information and completed engineering surveys, including landholding mapping for affected properties.
- Reviewed design requirements against the project climate risk and vulnerability assessment, incorporating recommendations on climate resilience and disaster risk reduction.
- Developed design alternatives with the technical assistance team and prepared detailed CAD designs, an engineering design report and a full set of drawings.
